Pacific Center for Neurological Disease

PCND was begun as a solo neurological practice in 2005, to serve the needs of the Pomerado Hospital community. Focused on geriatric neurology, it has become very popular with the local Rancho Bernardo and Poway communities, which contain some of the largest concentrations of elderly in San Diego County.

We offer both 24-hour inpatient consultative services primarily at Pomerado Hospital, as well as general outpatient neurological evaluations. We are affiliated with our counterpart, Southwest Neurology Medical Group in Escondido, and with the Palomar-Pomerado Health System.

Located near Pomerado Hospital in Poway, we are centrally located to serve the residents of Poway, Rancho Bernardo, and the surrounding communities. Although we welcome all adult patients over age 18, our consultation practice specializes in treating brain and nervous system disorders in the elderly, especially MEMORY DISORDERS, STROKE, DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE, PARKINSON'S DISEASE, and related neurological conditions associated with aging. We also have a new HEADACHE specialist in our group. When hospitalized at Pomerado Hospital, we also provide inpatient neurological consultation. The Center for Memory and Aging

Over the past almost 7 years, we've expanded, taken on more practitioners, and formed our new venture, the Center for Memory and Aging to focus on comprehensive memory and cognitive evaluations. The CMA is the first private facility of its kind in San Diego County, and strives to provide the most detailed cognitive testing and precise diagnosis for dementia and cognitive illnesses for you and your loved ones. We're also your link to dementia and cognitive research studies for those interested in participating in research.

From Escondido, take I-15 south to Bernardo Center Drive exit. Turn left onto Bernardo Center Drive (slightly north and east), and continue until you see Bernardo Heights Parkway. Turn right on Bernardo Heights Parkway and drive all the way to the end (Pomerado Road). Turn right on Pomerado Road and go south about 1/2 mile. We are in the Del Norte Professional Building (terraced tile roofs) on the right hand side (go up the steep drive to to top!)

From San Diego, take I-15 north to Bernardo Center Dr. Turn right on Bernardo Heights Parkway and continue until Pomerado Road. Turn right on Pomerado Road, and go until you see the Del Norte Professional Building (terraced tile roofs) on the right side of the road. Go up the steep drive to the top!

From Ramona and Julian, take Hwy 78/67 going west until you reach Poway Road. Continue and then turn right on Espola. Turn left onto Twin Peaks, and proceed to Pomerado Road. Turn right on Pomerado Road until you reach the Del Norte Professional Building which is directly accross from Pomerado Hospital. Go to the top of the steep drive and there you are!
